Formertron winding machines are heavy weighted and robust in construction. We specialized in horizontal winding machines for coil winding from distribution transformer coils to UHV power transformer coils. We produce medium to large capacity coil winding machines and its equipment. Transformer winding machines are designed to manage variety of coil and inductors. The machines are made of superior quality with specific design and best configurations. The machines are robust, smooth, rough and sophisticated in looks. We provide completely customized solution to our customers suitable for HV coils, cross over coil of distribution transformers etc.
Horizontal winding machines are best equipment for engineering coils of high voltage, high capacity transformers and inductors. The series differ for transformer and inductor from 10MVA to 500 MVA. It has basic components such as winding head, wire tensioner, decoiler unit, optional vertical and horizontal pressing mechanism, hydraulic station, electric control system and other accessories etc. The load carrying capacity of horizontal winding machines starts from 3 tons to 25 tons whereas diameter ranging from 200mm to 260mm. We manufacture the machines as per the customer specification subject to technical possibility.
