Spacer Gluing Machine

Once the transformer pressboard cylinder is formed, spacer sticks are glued along the length of the cylinder at pre-determined intervals depending on the design of the transformer. Formertron manufactures Spacer Gluing Machines which can be used to index the formed cylinder and stop it at pre-defined locations for gluing of spacer strips. An adjustable laser pointer marks the indexed location along the length so that the spacer strip can be manually glued onto the cylinder. This machine ensures accurate indexing of the cylinder, eliminating the errors which occur from manual marking of the spacer stick locations.
